In April of 2009, my husband, Robert Leleux, was interviewed by Ruth Pennebaker for the New York Times. The topic of the interview, as it turned out, happened to be multitasking. Being interviewed, for Robert, wasn't such an unusual experience. At the time, he'd just concluded a rather long publicity tour for his memoir, The Memoirs of A Beautiful Boy, and he'd been interviewed by all types of reporters--all across the country. This interview was different, however. It wasn't about his book.  Ruth just wanted his opinion about multitasking.  As usual, Robert's answers were brilliant and totally quotable and, also as usual, they referred to me. For that reason, as well as the fact that Ruth is a great writer, I'm proud to share this with my friends.  If you're interested in reading about the realities of multitasking, here's a link.
Being married to a writer, in my case, means that more than imitating art, my life became art as I became a character in Robert's book, The Memoirs of a Beautiful Boy.  And, as is the case with all art, it invited commentary, reviews, and critiques. Luckily, Robert's portrayal of me was flattering and the reviews of his book were fabulous. Here are a few links to some of my favorite press clippings.
